Galveston Dunes at Sunset

Created during Plein Air Southwest. This painting records the serene atmosphere of Galveston Beach at dusk. I utilized a soft, pastel palette to render the fading light, using the natural curves of the marsh grass to lead the eye toward the horizon line where the sky meets the sea.
