Lingering Mist

This monochromatic painting captures a quiet morning

as two bears wade through the shallow waters of a mountain lake.

The first light of day gently dissolves the lingering mist drifting

across the water and cascading through the surrounding mountains.

The restrained palette emphasizes atmosphere over detail,

inviting viewers to experience the stillness, mystery, and

quiet majesty of the wilderness at daybreak.
